Surface
preparation on steel surface:

The
steel surface should be free
from rust, oil, grease and any
other impurities.
|
| 2. |
|
Remove
any weld flux, weld metal spatter,
weld flux deposits, rusts and
damaged paint films in welded
areas by power tool cleaning.
|
| 3. |
|
After
power tool cleaning, any trace
of dust particles must be removed
from the
surface including corners and
cavities by brush.
|
| 4. |
|
Water
and moisture, oil and grease,
white rust, chalk marks, marking
paints and other contaminations
should be thoroughly removed
by water washingand solvent
wiping.
